	         !!!ATTENTION!!!

BEFORE UPGRADEING YOUR NON-DE VFC-2200'S DO THE FOLLOWING!

In order to upgrade original VFC-2200's first confirm that 
the EPROM Loader is version 103.15 or later.

Follow the procedure below to find out which version you have:


1) Open the upgrade_instructions.txt file.

2) Follow the all the instructions up to 
   "Verifying Communications between the Computer and VFC Unit" Step 6. 
   This will get the unit to a point where the version number can be 
   identified.
   
3) If the banner shows 103.15 or later, the VFC-2200 can be upgraded. 
   Follow the remaining steps in the "upgrade_instructions.txt" file. 
   Otherwise, contact the factory and request an RMA number to have 
   your system upgraded. If you wish to have your original VFC-2200 
   upgraded to a VFC-2200DE, let our staff know when you call and they
   will give additional information about this option.
