It will tell the ScreenPRO-II to automatically lock to the incoming signal, whenever it may change, without having to perform a Force Acquire. This is useful when different sources are going to be connected to the ScreenPRO-II during the course of an event and it is necessary for that signal to be acquired without any interaction from the operator of the the ScreenPRO-II. By default and after a Factory Reset, "Auto Source Acquire" will be set to the selection named "ONCE" and "Auto Input Save" will be set to "ON". As expected, the ScreenPRO-II will attempt to Auto Acquire an Input as soon as the Source is selected, provided it does not currently have a saved input configuration file. If the Auto Acquire procedure is successful, the ScreenPRO-II will then automatically save an input configuration file for the newly acquired source. *********************** Version 2.01.00 ********************************** ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - If a DVI signal was removed from either DVI input while Frame Grabs were in use on the Background or DSK layer, the Background or DSK would go to black. This issue has been resolved in this release. *********************** Version 2.00.00 ********************************** ____________ NEW FEATURES - Scaled DVI Input Support for ScreenPRO-II (with EOC) ScreenPRO-II systems with EOC cards installed now enable the DVI inputs to be scaled. The descriptions below outline how to access the DVI source as a scaled input based on the current operation mode. Basic Mode Operation For a selected Layer, Input Selections 1 - 8 are used for Analog sources, SDI 1 and SDI 2 are used for SDI sources and BG A and BG B are used for DVI source selection. Depending on the source selected, the Input menu can be used to make the appropriate adjustments and Save the Input file for later recall. Advanced Mode Operation Within the Input Setup menu, the operator can setup Inputs 7 or 8 to be HD-15 or DVI using the "Input Connector" field at the top of the menu. When DVI is selected for use, Input 7 corresponds to physical DVI input "A", while Input 8 is DVI input "B". Once this is defined, using DVI as a scaled input source is the same as Analog or SDI sources. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - DVI Output Sync Polarity In the Output setup menu, DVI sync polarity can be changed to one of the following combinations: +H+V, +H-V, -H+V, -H-V - Added the following formats: 1280x800 @50, 59.94 1366x800 @50, 59.94, 60 *********************** Version 1.25.04 ********************************* _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES This version was released to support the changes made to the Encore Family Controllers only. There are no additional new features or functionality for the stand-alone ScreenPRO II in this release. *********************** Version 1.24.03 ********************************* ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - For analog NTSC and PAL inputs, the default sync slice is now 80mV. This change improves maintaining a stable lock to video sources where the video signal integrity is less than ideal. - Added the following formats: 1280x720 @60 1280x720 II @60 1280x800 @60 1280x800 II @60 1360x768 @60 1440x900 @60, @75, @85 1680x1050 @60 1920x1080pSF @29.97, @30 1920x1200 @50, @59.94, @60 2048x1200 @59.94 ************************ Version 1.23 ********************************* _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES This version was never released. ************************ Version 1.22 ********************************* ____________ NEW FEATURES - A ScreenPRO II / PresenationPRO II Keypress GUI has been included with this software release. Using this application, a computer can connect to either product via Ethernet and perform simple input selection actions. All input, output and system setup functions are performed from the Front Panel and are not accessible from the GUI. - A keypress command has been added to the ScreenPRO II protocol. This command allows a remote control application emulate usage of the front panel. See "ScreenPRO II External Control Protocol Rev 1.00.pdf" included with this bundle for more information. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - When SDI inputs were set as "External" route mode via the ScreenPRO II Controller, the input connector routed to a layer would not be remembered after a power cycle. The next set of new features will be available in following releases. ************************** Version 1.19 ********************************* _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES - This release restores compatibility with the Encore Controller SC and LC along with the ScreenPRO II Controller. - Ethernet Communication Improvements Improvements to communication and connection reliability have been made with this release. To take full advantage of these improvements, it is recommended that a 10/100MBit or 100MBit Switch be used when connecting the ScreenPRO II's to Encore or ScreenPRO II Controllers. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - Under certain conditions, once the SOG output option was set to ON it could not be turned OFF. This issue has been resolved in this release. - Several internal and minor operational issues were resolved with this release. ************************** Version 1.18 ********************************* _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES - Release 1.18 for the ScreenPRO II is NOT compatible with any software release installed on either the Encore SC/LC or ScreenPRO II Controller. If a ScreenPRO II running 1.18 is connected to one of these controllers, the Controller will downgrade the ScreenPRO II to a compatible version if the operator initiates the "Download Code" procedure. Compatibility with the Controllers will be restored with Software release 1.19. If the unit is to be used with a Controller, do not upload this release of software. ____________ NEW FEATURES - Enhanced Output Card Support Added The Enhanced Output Card (EOC) is an optional (factory installed) card that provides additional output formats and expands the still store capabilities of the ScreenPRO II. The EOC takes as an input either the Preview or Program Output of the ScreenPRO II (user selectable) and provides the following outputs: - SD/HD SDI, Analog YPbPr or RGBHV. The following resolutions are supported with the EOC: NTSC (480i) PAL (576i) 800x600 1024x768 1280x1024 1400x1050 1600x1200 1280x720p @50, 59.94, 60 1920x1080i @50, 59.94, 60 1920x1080p @25, 29.97, 30 When the EOC card is installed in a ScreenPRO II a button labeled "E OUT" appears on the Output Menu. The EOC menu provides control of the following parameters: - EOC Output source (Preview or Program) - Colorspace - Underscan - Sync Settings - Test Patterns - Gamma - Sharpness - Flicker Filter The EOC provides increased Frame Store storage capabilities from 3 storable frames to 100 storable frames. In addition to increased capacity, frame stores can both be saved and recalled for use on the order of 6 - 10 seconds depending on resolution. Like the current operation, Frame Grabs are captured into one of three temporary storage locations. Once the Frame has been captured, press the SAVE soft-key. If the Extended Memory is available, the operator will be able to select a storage file number location of 1 - 100. Without this option, the storage file number will be limited to 1 - 3. - Auto Source Acquire and Auto Input Save Modes Added under the Miscellaneous, User Preferences menu. Previously, anytime that a source was selected, the ScreenPRO II would try to acquire it if there wasn't a saved input file associated with it. Now the user may select whether an unsaved input source is automatically acquired or not. The default auto source acquire mode is on. When auto source acquire mode is enabled, the option of automatically saving an input once it is acquired has been added. This allows for quicker input source setup. The default mode for auto input save is off. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - Fixed issues related to switching between Advanced and Basic modes of operation. - Added capability to cancel the save of a frame grab while saving is in progress. - Added a system save button to the Home menu. - Moved location of EDID adjustments from SYSTEM menu to MISC menu. ************************** Version 1.17 ********************************* _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES - Release 1.17 for the ScreenPRO II is NOT compatible with any software release installed on either the Encore SC/LC or ScreenPRO II Controller. If a ScreenPRO II running 1.17 is connected to one of these controllers, the Controller will downgrade the ScreenPRO II to a compatible version if the operator initiates the "Download Code" procedure. Compatibility with the Controllers will be restored with Software release 1.19. If the unit is to be used with a Controller, do not upload this release of software. - Starting with this release, ScreenPRO II will default to the Basic Mode operation after performing a Factory Reset. ____________ NEW FEATURES - Basic Mode Functionality Added A new operational mode called "Basic" has been added to the ScreenPRO II. While in this mode, the ScreenPRO II unit becomes a full screen switcher only. All Background, Layer Modes/Functions and DSK features will be disabled when operating in this mode. The ScreenPRO II is placed into Basic mode by default after a Factory Reset. To change between this mode and Advanced mode, simply go to the MISC-->USER PREF menu and select the desired mode in the "Operation Mode" field. Switching between modes can be done at any time without affecting any Input Configuration files. When switching between modes, a confirmation menu will show. Pressing the YES softkey will initiate the switch to the selected mode. When going from Advanced to Basic mode, the system will perform a soft-reset automatically in order to properly initialize the operating state. Going from Basic to Advanced does not require the unit to perform the soft-reset. While operating in Basic mode, it is not necessary to select a Layer. The operator simply needs to select a source. If the source has not been previously saved, the ScreenPRO II will attempt to auto acquire the input. A Source Acquisition menu will be presented allowing the user to Adjust or Save the input. Automatic source acquisition is done by setting the system to Oversample mode. When performing Sizing adjustments, the user will be presented with TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT and RIGHT fields in order to properly size the image to the output raster. An exception to this will occur when the Input is Interlaced. The system will acquire these sources in a 1:1 Sampling mode. The Sizing menu will then allow for H and V Active and Position adjustments. Once the Input has been sized and saved, the system will return to the Effects menu. From the Effects menu, the operator can select the Transition Type or Transition Time before pressing a Transition key (Auto Trans, CUT or Wipe). Because this mode turns the unit into a Full Screen switcher, the operator doesn't need to worry about the size or position of the image prior to taking the source to Program. This is true even when the Sources have various Aspect Ratios. For example, if the Output Resolution is set to 1400x1050 (a 4:3 Output Aspect Ratio), when the user selects a 16:9 Input source, the ScreenPRO II will automatically fill the output screen horizontally and show Black Bars on the top and bottom of the image. If the next source selected is a 4:3 source, the output screen would be filled both horizontally and vertically without any black bars showing. In addition to sources, LOGO can be selected at any time to go to Program. When selecting LOGO, the default selection will be BLACK. To capture a frame of video for use as a LOGO, first load the source into Preview. Second, press the LOGO key to get into the LOGO menu. Third, press the "Capture" softkey to initiate the Capturing and Automatic Saving of the image to non-volatile memory. Once the image has been stored, the user will be able to define the LOGO to be BLACK or the FG# selected prior to capturing the image. As with Advanced mode, the system will allow up to three Frame Grabs to be stored for use as a LOGO. Whenever a key is pressed that has been disabled due to being in Basic mode, a pop-up message will be displayed informing the user that the function is not available in Basic mode. When in the Effects menu, press the HOME softkey in order to have access to the INPUT, OUTPUT, SYSTEM, STATUS, DISPLAY, REMOTE CONTROL or MISC submenus. The FRAME GRAB menu is disabled in Basic mode. When entering the REMOTE CONTROL menu, turning Remote Control ON will automatically switch the operation mode to Advanced. If the unit boots up in the Remote Control menu and the user wants to use the system in Stand-Alone Basic mode, simply press the BASIC MODE softkey in the Remote Control menu. When the ScreenPRO II is actively connected to a Controller, the BASIC MODE softkey will not show in the Remote Control menu. To enable all of the advanced features that ScreenPRO II has the ability to perform, switch the system into Advanced mode. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - Performing a System Save would not correctly save the state of the Serial port settings. This issue has been resolved in this release. - Performing a Force Acquire would not always correctly update the FORMAT field in the Input menu under certain conditions. This issue has been resolved in this release. ************************** Version 1.16 ********************************* ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - The S-Video and Composite Outputs from the Sony BRC-300 series camera was not being properly detected when performing a Force Acquire. This issue has been addressed in this release. - Crop and Move Setup menu operations have been changed to match the Encore and ScreenPRO II Controller series. - When turning TOGGLE mode OFF for a Mixer and that Mixer currently has a Layer on Program, the Layer on Preview will automatically switch to the source being used in Program. - After a Factory Reset, the Raster Box shown in Preview would not be blinking to match the state of the Layer A button. This issue has been addressed in this release. - When loading Frame Grabs into either the Background or DSK, it was possible that the image would be corrupt during or after the load. This issue has been addressed in this release. - Under certain conditions, turning the Shadow ON for a PIP would cause the Border to disappear. This issue has been addressed in this release. - Added 2048x512@59.94 in the Output Resolution table. - In Mix Source mode under certain conditions a move between one source to another would cause incorrect sizing of the input. This has been corrected in this release. ************************** Version 1.15 ********************************* _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES - This software release is for setups that require a BlendPRO II to create a Widescreen show with ScreenPRO II units. Single screen setups controlled with the ScreenPRO II Controller should continue to use the 1.14.X software bundle. ____________ NEW FEATURES - Widescreen setups with ScreenPRO II and BlendPRO II are now supported. Setting up and controlling a Widescreen setup can now be accomplished with ScreenPRO II units whose outputs are blended together with the BlendPRO II product. Connection to the BlendPRO II requires that the DVI Program Outputs from each ScreenPRO II unit be connected to the DVI Inputs on the BlendPRO II unit. Preview monitors will continue to be connected to the ScreenPRO II units directly. An important element required to ensure the system works properly is the Widescreen Link connection. Connect the Widescreen Lock OUT from the BlendPRO II to the Genlock IN on the lowest ID ScreenPRO II. Connect the Genlock LOOP out from this ScreenPRO II to the next highest ID ScreenPRO II Genlock IN. Continue the connections in this manner for each ScreenPRO II in the Widescreen setup. Once the cables are connected, be sure that the last ScreenPRO II unit has its Termination button pushed IN. All other ScreenPRO II units should NOT have the Termination button pushed IN. Once the BlendPRO II unit is connected to the network, the ScreenPRO II Controller will automatically assign an IP address to the unit and the Status menu on the Controller will report 1 next to the BlendPRO II field. In the Dest Setup menu, simply add all of the ScreenPRO II unit IDs required to make up the Widescreen. The Destination Type will automatically change to say "Widescreen SP". Select "Internal" or "External" routing as normal. When Internal Routing is selected, make sure that each Source is D/A'd to the same physical input on each ScreenPRO II unit. In the Output menu, set the resolution to the native resolution of your projector. Since this Destination is now considered a Widescreen Destination, the WIDE SCREEN soft-key will show at the bottom of the Output menu to allow adjustments specific to Widescreen setups. Inputs can now be routed into a Layer and Force Acquired as normal. If necessary, Color Balance and Phase can adjusted on each Layer within each unit separately by selecting the unit ID in the Input setup menus. Controlling the Widescreen Destination is the same as Single Screen Destination. All of the Layer Functions and resource usage rules will work in the same manner. One additional feature not available in Single Screen mode is Clone. To use this, simply place a Layer on one half of the Widescreen display area. Press the Clone key and an identical Layer will appear on the other half of the screen. From this point either Mirror or Offset can be selected to define how the Clone will operate. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - With SP2 in split mode, a Layer A on program, Layer B selected on preview, and Swap Z-Order selected, changing the source would cause the input source on program to change. This has been corrected in this release. - For a YUV input source, the Color balance menu was displaying hue as an adjustment. There is not hue adjustment for a YUV input source. This menu item has been removed from the Color Balance menu. - From the front panel with DSK or the Logo active (blinking), going to the Home menu and selecting the INPUT soft key would incorrectly display a warning menu. The DSK input adjust or the Logo Input setup menu is now displayed for the corresponding active DSK or Logo layer. - Clock phase adjustment is not a valid option for an SDI input. We now show N/A for clock phase adjustment when an SDI input is being adjusted in the 1:1 Sizing menu. ************************** Version 1.14.X ******************************* ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - When recalling the same input into both Layers, the Vertical position of the source data within the Layer would be different with respect to each Layer. This issue has been resolved in this release. *************************** Version 1.14 ******************************** ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - Added HW Version status to technical support menu. The format is XX.YY, where XX is the board fab version and YY is the assembly version. - When DSK was on program and the layer was cleared, the DSK would be immediately be cleared from program instead of waiting for the transition. This problem has been resolved with this version. - Added a test pattern mode menu item to the Output Test Pattern menu. - When a frame grab is selected as a background source and the DVI input is lost, selecting DVI as the background source would result in scrambled video instead of black (when blacking mode is enabled). This has been resolved in this version. - With DVI background input selected and in freeze mode, changing the background input type would keep the background frozen and result in artifacts. This has been corrected so that freeze mode is disabled when changing the background input type. - The blacking mode was not being properly restored at power up. Proper initialization of the hardware with the saved value is in this version. - In mix source mode with a move setup defined, pending the move and then changing the source would cause the PIP on program to jump to the end position of the pended move. This has been resolved in this version. *************************** Version 1.13 ******************************** _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES This version was never released. ************************ Version 1.12 ********************************** ____________ NEW FEATURES - Programmable Raster Box Size In the SETTINGS sub-menu under the OUTPUT menu, a new option "Raster Box Size" has been added. This field will give the operator control of the pixel width of the raster boxes around each PIP in Preview. The range is 0 (No Raster Boxes shown) to 8 pixels in width. - User selectable Black Invalid Video Option Under MISC-->USER PREF is a field called "Black Invalid Video". This selection will enable or disable the blacking of invalid video when this condition is detected by ScreenPRO II. The MISC key was added to Home Menu. - New output formats added to ScreenPRO II 1366x768 @50Hz 1366x768 @59.94 1536x768 @50Hz 1536x768 @59.94Hz 1680x1050 @60Hz 1920x1080p II @50Hz (format added to support BenQ monitors) 2048x1080p II @50Hz (format added to support BenQ monitors) - Added support to connect to ScreenPRO II Controller. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - While in Split mode with both layers showing on Preview and Layer B is changed to Key mode, Layer A would be changed to Key mode instead. This issue has been resolved in this release. - When adjusting DSK to be filled with a MATTE color, the source would instead be filled with the input signal on DVI A. This issue has been resolved in this release. - While in Mix Source with Toggle OFF, selecting a source with a different Aspect Ratio and pushing CUT several times would cause the two PIPs to have different sizes. This issue has been resolved in this release. - If DSK was currently using a Frame Grab source of one format and the operator changed the type to DVI of a different format, the DVI source would be incorrectly sized on the screen. This issue has been resolved in this release. - A Logo Frame Grab selection error in which selecting FG1 actually selected FG3 was corrected in this release. - Front panel Aspect Ratio operations have been modified to operate in the same manner as the Encore Controller. - An issue in which the recalling of saved parameters caused the front panel to get out of sync has been corrected. - The RESET and FULL SCREEN keys now function when MOVE SETUP is in progress. - FULL SCREEN operation has been modified to compare Input Aspect Ratio vs. Output Aspect Ratio so that all of the contents in the Input are still shown when FULL SCREEN is selected. - "MOVE SETUP" definition procedure has been improved. Performing a "MOVE SETUP" for the first time on any given Layer remains the same. Once a "MOVE" property has been defined, it can be easily changed by selecting that layer and pressing the "MOVE SETUP" key. The Layer will now snap to the defined ENDING location. Now a new ending location can be chosen. If no change to the ending location is desired, simply change the "KEYFRAME EFFECT" or "MOVE RATE" to update the move definition before hitting the "MOVE SETUP" key again. To delete a "MOVE SETUP", you must now double-punch the "MOVE SETUP" key within 1/2 second, otherwise the "MOVE SETUP" will not be deleted. - LCD Calibration Serial Command Added A new serial command has been added to initiate the LCD Calibration proceedure for the Touch Screen display. Set the Serial 1 Port Setup accessed via HOME\SYSTEM\SERIAL 1 to match the terminal program communication settings. At the prompt displayed on the terminal, enter LCDCAL to perform the LCD calibration. - LCD Display Adjustment Limits Prior software releases allowed the LCD Adjustments for Brightness and Contrast to go to 0. At these values, the display can not be read and if power is cycled, these values are remembered making it difficult to restore the display back to a usable state. Starting with this release, the LCD Brightness will be limited to a value of 20, while the Contrast will be limited to a value of 40. At these low values, the display is still readable so that the adjustments can be reset should the system remain at these low settings. ************************ Version 1.11 ********************************** ____________ NEW FEATURES - Color Keying with Color Picker Color Keying has been added to the standard Keying options currently available on the ScreenPRO II. When enabling the KEY function, the first field in the KEY Menu will allow for the selection of LUMA or COLOR. When COLOR is chosen a new menu will appear. This menu allows the user to select the Color to Key on as well as the setting up of the Threshold and Mask. To make the color selection easier, a "PICK COLOR" option has been created. When chosen, a cursor will appear in the center of the PIP that has currently been selected to be a Key and a COLOR PICKER menu will appear. Use the Encoder knobs to move the cursor around in the PIP. When the center of the cursor is over the desired color, press "GRAB COLOR". The KEY menu reappears and the "Red", "Green" and "Blue" menu fields will be populated with the numbers representing the color chosen. - Invalid Video Handling The following will happen automatically when Invalid Video is detected by the system: 1) If this condition occurs within a Layer, the Layer will go to Black. 2) If this condition occurs within the Unscaled Background channels, the Background will go to the currently defined MATTE color. 3) If this condition occurs within the Unscaled DSK channels, the DSK will be turned OFF. - Renamed the "Remote Control" menu item in the REMOTE CONTROL menu to "Remote Control/DHCP". When this field is turned ON and an Encore Controller is on the network, the ScreenPRO II will get an IP address from and connect to the Encore Controller as usual. If a DHCP Server other than the Encore Controller is on the network, the ScreenPRO II will get and display the IP address received from that Server. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - Within the BACKGROUND and DSK MATTE menus, soft keys MIN, MAX and BLACK have been added. MIN and MAX work on the currently selected color field. - A "FORCE ACQUIRE" soft key has been added to the "SIZING" sub menu. This allows an operator to stay in this menu while acquiring and saving input configuration files. - During a "FORCE ACQUIRE" of an Input, the front panel will display a message that an input acquisition is taking place. - Within the INPUT ACQUISITION menu, the "INPUT" soft key has been renamed to "ADJUST". - In the SYSTEM menu, "CONSOLE" soft key has been renamed to "SERIAL 1". - In previous ScreenPRO II releases, 720P output resolutions were improperly handled. This issue has been resolved with this release. - The default shadow edge has been fixed to have a soft edge. - Color Space can now be changed for HD/SDI inputs. - In previous ScreenPRO II releases, borders were not being removed on preview when going from Split to Mix Mode with no borders on main. This issue has been resolved with this release. - Improved Crop Ratio adjustment knob sensitivity. - PIP raster boxes are now cleared from Preview when the output test pattern is enabled. - Changing the input of one scaler from an analog source to the same SDI input source routed to the other scaler would cause the video to glitch on both scalers. This issue has been corrected in this release. - When a ScreenPRO II unit with genlock mode enabled and saved would power up without a genlock signal available, the ScreenPRO II would lock up. This problem has been resolved with this release. ************************ Version 1.10 ********************************** _______________ IMPORTANT NOTES - If necessary, the ScreenPRO II may need to update the touch screen after upgrading to a new release. When this happens, the following will show on the touch screen: "Programming Flash. Please Wait..." This message is referring to the Flash programming of the display. During this period of time, about 5 seconds, power should NOT be cycled. If power is lost during this period of time the display may become corrupt. The symptom of this happening will be a totally blank display when turning the ScreenPRO II ON. If this happens, the ScreenPRO II must be sent back to the Factory for repair. When the above process completes, the display will go into an "Auto Calibration" mode so the user can recalibrate the touch screen as this information is lost due to the "Programming Flash" procedure. ____________ NEW FEATURES - Support for Encore Release 1.10 added. See the WHATSNEW_ENCORE.TXT file for more information. ______________________ IMPROVED FUNCTIONALITY - When turning REMOTE CONTROL from ON to OFF or if manually turning the Keyboard Lockout feature OFF via serial control, the LEDs for the Layer and Source buttons would not be correctly lit. This issue has been resolved in this release. - When changing to a Composite Input type, a Mismatch or No Source Found message would show on the LCD screen. This issue has been resolved in this release. ******************** Version 1.09 ****************************** ____________ New Features - Support added for Control via Encore Controller ScreenPRO II can now be controlled via an Encore Controller with software version 1.09 and above. If using a ScreenPRO II with an Encore Controller and your ScreenPRO currently has version 1.00, do the following to upgrade your ScreenPRO II. First, upgrade the Controller with the 1.09 software bundle as the Controller now will store the ScreenPRO II software in addition to the Video Processor software. Once the Controller has been upgraded, connect the ScreenPRO II to the network, go to the REMOTE CONTROL menu in ScreenPRO II and select a unique ID that does not conflict with any Encore VP ID's. Next, select REMOTE CONTROL to be ON. The ScreenPRO II will now attempt to connect to the Controller. Once recognized by the Controller, go to the SW VER menu under SYSTEM in the Controller and select DOWNLOAD CODE to upgrade your Video Processors and/or ScreenPRO II units to 1.09 After the upgrade process is complete, perform a complete FACTORY reset on the Controller and any VP's and/or SP's that the Controller detects. SPII's can then be setup as Destinations and controlled with either External or Internal routing options as designated in the "DEST SETUP" menu of the controller. When using an External router, connect two Analog outputs from the router to Inputs 1 and 2 on the ScreenPRO II. An HD-SDI/SDI router would connect to the BNC inputs 1 and 2. Use the "Output Patch" menu to specify which router outputs are going to the ScreenPRO II. When using the Internal router, use the "INPUT PATCH" menu to map the SOURCE SELECTION buttons to the inputs on the ScreenPRO II. At this point you are ready to setup sources by selecting Layer 1A or 1B, routing a source and setting up that source in the INPUT menu. Background (DVI ONLY) or DSK (DVI ONLY) can be setup as well by selecting the Background or DSK Layer keys. ______________________ Improved Functionality - When pending a MOVE, the raster box would be incorrectly sized for the PIP. This issue has been addressed with this release. - Changing output resolution from the Front Panel could cause the system to lock-up. This issue has been addressed with this release. - When going from an Analog source to an unsaved YUV source, the colorspace would be incorrect. This issue has been addressed in this release. - When executing a MOVE, a slight delay would occur after the transition button was pressed to when the PIP would start to MOVE. This has been corrected in this release. - When specifying border size in "Pixels", as a PIP sizes down towards a 0 x 0 size, the border will stay a fixed to the size specified.
